5 Minute Mug Cake

The hardest part of tracking macros is not giving into my sweet tooth everyday and enjoying the mouth watering goodness that refined sugar offers. Swapping out the cupcakes for healthy alternatives may seem sustainable for a while, but sooner or later a sugar relapse will be in order - especially if you're a dessert lover like me!


Don' t get me wrong there are tons of healthy, mouth watering options to be found on Pinterest, but I am guessing as a busy momma, who's

got time for that!

Finding time to squeeze in a workout is hard enough, nevermind breaking out the baking dishes after a long day!


Don't worry - I got you!


This 5 minute mug cake is healthy, quick, and super satisfying.

1 scoop of your favorite chocolate protein powder

1 egg

2 tbsp unsweetened almond mik

1 tsp cocoa

1/4 tsp baking powder


Beat egg & milk together, stir in dry ingredients to form a batter. Spray a large mug and pour batter in. I microwave mine for one minute, but this will depend on your microwave power.


You can top with whatever you are feeling in the moment, my favorite is dark choclate chunks and a sccop of peanut butter.
